Lead Day Habilitation Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Day Habilitation Program Lead Specialist to join our team at ACLD. As a Day Habilitation Program Lead Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to achieve their personal goals and become self-sufficient.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide structure and emotional support to program participants to help them achieve their personal goals.
- Assist in resolving behavioral issues and provide guidance on personal hygiene practices.
- Transport program participants to and from volunteer and pre-vocational activities using Agency vehicles.
- Complete detailed and accurate documentation of program participant progress.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or a related field.
- One year of experience working with developmentally disabled individuals preferred.
- Clean and valid NYS Driver's License required.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Ability to complete trainings in SCIP, CPR, and AMAP.
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Salary Range:
$19.55 - $20.97 per hour. Some programs/locations may have a differential in addition to the hourly rate.
