Position Overview:

We are seeking a qualified Financial Operations Coordinator with the following qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar financial coordination role or as a bookkeeper.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, particularly MS Excel, and familiarity with QuickBooks or other accounting software.
  • Strong capabilities in financial oversight and management.
  • Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and best practices.
  • Experience in budget formulation and cash flow analysis.
  • Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in generating reports and presentations.
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily cash flow operations.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
  • Handle delinquent accounts and coordinate with collection agencies.
  • Maintain organized records of tuition fees and receipts.
  • Process student refunds in accordance with established policies.
  • Ensure timely payment of tuition, books, uniforms, and other necessary supplies by students.
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to verify payment processes.
  • Manage inventory and order necessary supplies.
  • Perform document scanning and faxing tasks.
  • Participate in meetings and campus events.
  • Facilitate communication with various departments.
  • Prepare reports for administrative staff and relevant government entities.
  • Engage with local authorities and school board members.
  • Handle phone communications and direct calls appropriately.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: $22.00 per hour

Expected Work Hours: 40 hours per week
