Job Summary:

The Bulk Account Merchandiser (BAM) is tasked with selling, ordering, and showcasing products. This role involves introducing new products and promotions, collaborating with clients to ensure accurate product orders, executing commercial strategies across the assigned account base, and merchandising products while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement commercial strategies for customers on daily, pre-set routes.
  • Utilize effective communication skills (Listening, Speaking, and Writing).
  • Demonstrate a competitive spirit daily.
  • Stock, merchandise, and rotate beverage sections and displays in stores.
  • Manage all ordering processes, maintain inventory levels, minimize shrinkage, and organize storage areas.
  • Build displays sold locally or through agreements.
  • Provide guidance to merchandisers and specialists supporting your territory during your days off.
Responsibilities Include:
  • Managing, selling, and executing tasks within an assigned group of customers on daily routes, generating sales orders to ensure operational success and contribute to the company's financial performance.
  • Executing promotions and new product launches based on marketing initiatives and commercial plans to achieve excellence in execution scores.
  • Filling, merchandising, and rotating products on display and shelves according to established procedures.
  • Organizing and maintaining storage areas by arranging products and managing returns of empty pallets and outdated items.
  • Creating and distributing point-of-sale materials where permitted, ensuring proper product rotation.
  • Fostering business relationships with store personnel through proactive follow-ups and discussions on pricing and opportunities.
  • Identifying competitive issues or market activities that may impact business and executing all duties safely.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
  • Effective communication skills, including listening, speaking, and writing.
  • Prior experience in customer service, preferably in retail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment (lifting up to 50 lbs. repetitively).
  • Critical thinking abilities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Strong initiative and willingness to learn.
  • Career-oriented mindset with a competitive nature.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Excellent driving record.
  • Proof of insurance coverage meeting specified requirements.
  • High School Education / GED.
