The Financial Services sector is undergoing a significant transformation, emphasizing virtual communication and engagement. As online banking, lending, asset management, and insurance evolve, it is essential to reassess the roles of traditional storefronts, contact centers, and remote work.

With substantial investments in these new demands, Five9 has experienced remarkable growth, expanding from a $257M+ business to nearly $1 billion in annual recurring revenue. This is your chance to contribute to this exciting phase as a Senior Industry Marketing Manager within our Product Marketing team at Five9, the leading provider of Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS).

We are looking for a proactive individual with excellent interpersonal skills who is eager to develop and implement a robust CCaaS marketing strategy for the Financial Services sector. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic, high-energy environment that values innovation and collaboration.

A successful Industry Marketer at Five9 will be responsible for:

  • Conducting thorough market research in the Financial Services sector to identify segments, trends, IT priorities, product alignment, partnership opportunities, and competitive challenges.
  • Creating and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that leverage product marketing expertise while coordinating competitive analysis, demand generation, events, digital marketing, public relations, social media, analyst relations, and partner marketing.
  • Crafting clear and persuasive messaging that highlights Five9's AI capabilities, omni-channel communication, workforce engagement, and partnerships, setting Five9 apart in the Financial Services marketplace.
  • Maintaining close collaboration with Sales through training sessions, regular meetings, and ongoing communication regarding new content, partnerships, and competitive insights.
  • Partnering with Product Management to address product gaps and prioritize the roadmap for Financial Services.
  • Engaging with key partners to promote CCaaS, develop co-marketing initiatives, and explore joint solutions to penetrate new markets.

Essential Qualifications

  • 5-8+ years of experience in enterprise cloud software or product marketing, with a minimum of 2 years in a client-facing role.
  • Proven experience in marketing or selling contact center solutions within the Financial Services industry.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or marketing.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technology concepts for Sales, Partners, and customers.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret industry trends, sales feedback, and Five9 data.
  • Excellent time management abilities, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective negotiation, persuasion, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 15% for trade shows, events, and customer presentations.
  • Strong leadership and management skills to engage with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams, and external partners.
  • Ability to effectively lead cross-functional teams and meetings to achieve alignment on priorities.

Work Arrangement: This position is fully remote for candidates residing outside a specified radius of our office. For those within the designated area, a hybrid model is available, requiring in-office attendance on select days.
