Position Overview

As a Senior Financial Strategist, you will report directly to the Head of Finance. Your primary responsibilities will encompass supporting financial planning and budgeting initiatives, crafting financial models, preparing forecasts, and conducting research and analysis as required by the leadership team. In this senior role, you will also provide financial guidance to team leaders and assist with the monthly closing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the company's financial planning cycle, including long-term planning, annual budgeting, and monthly/quarterly forecasting.
  • Create and maintain advanced financial models to evaluate potential growth scenarios and assess various business factors.
  • Analyze financial data and develop pertinent financial and cost models to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of key business metrics and drivers, delivering actionable insights and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Offer strategic advice on cost-reduction initiatives and enhancements in operational efficiency.
Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting within complex business settings, including 3 years leading FP&A processes, ideally in renewable energy or manufacturing.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to diverse audiences.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial statements (Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and P&L), with experience in renewable energy project finance preferred.
  • Extensive experience in financial modeling and data analysis, with advanced proficiency in MS Excel.

  • Strong project management capabilities, with a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and achieving results in a dynamic environment.
