About the Role:
The Finance & Risk Management Department is in search of a proactive Lead Financial Strategist to spearhead intricate financial analyses and contribute to strategic decision-making processes. This role entails developing and managing budgets, conducting comprehensive financial modeling, and ensuring the precision of financial forecasts. You will be part of a team that prioritizes work-life balance while being challenged to enhance your analytical capabilities through significant projects that influence the organization.
The ideal candidate will possess expertise in financial modeling, particularly in rate setting, and have experience with financial planning software to optimize the planning process. This position offers the chance to work in a collaborative environment where your contributions will directly impact the financial health and strategic direction of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Financial Modeling: Execute complex financial analyses, including revenue forecasting and cost allocations, utilizing advanced financial models.
- Monitor Financial Performance: Analyze actual performance against budgets, providing comprehensive reports and insights to stakeholders.
- Support Rate Setting: Develop and refine rates and fees to align with financial objectives and regulatory standards.
- Leverage Technology: Utilize financial software to enhance financial processes and support informed decision-making.

Qualifications:
- Five years of relevant experience in budgeting, financial analysis, or accounting, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- A degree from an accredited institution in public or business administration, finance, accounting, or a related field.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with financial modeling and budgeting software.
- Background in developing rate-setting strategies, including cost analysis and revenue forecasting.
