Position SummaryWe are seeking a Lead Financial Strategist to join our Global Merchant Sales & Acquiring (MS&A) Finance team. This role will involve close collaboration with the MS&A leadership team to formulate financial strategies and conduct analytics that support informed business decisions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for structuring and modeling deals for commercial agreements with multi-Region MS&A clients, as well as assisting in the forecasting and budgeting processes for Global MS&A.
Additionally, this role will entail generating comprehensive scorecard reports and analyses regarding the operational performance of the business units.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Collaboration: Act as a thought partner for the MS&A leadership, guiding financial engagements with global business development teams to craft client proposals for Acceptance, Cobrand, and Value Added Services (VAS) partnerships.
- Management Reporting: Continuously enhance management information reporting for MS&A, delivering timely KPIs with actionable insights on sales pipelines and revenue drivers.
- Financial Oversight: Assist in the planning cycles, including annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, while supporting operational performance diagnostics and investment decision-making.
- Process Improvement: Streamline financial processes to enhance output quality and overall team performance.
This position operates in a hybrid model, requiring employees to work from the office 2-3 days a week, as determined by leadership and business needs.
QualificationsBasic Requirements:
5+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 2+ years with an advanced degree, or no experience with a PhD.
Preferred Qualifications:
4+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, with a focus on revenue drivers and client incentive agreements. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, and other financial reporting tools is essential. Strong ability to influence senior executives and collaborate effectively across functions.
Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills are required, along with a client-focused approach and the ability to navigate complex issues with excellent interpersonal skills.
Additional InformationThis role may require occasional travel (5-10%). The position will be conducted in an office environment, necessitating the ability to sit and stand at a desk, communicate effectively, and operate standard office equipment.
