Corporate Social Responsibility Program Coordinator

Planet Interactive is seeking a Corporate Social Responsibility Program Coordinator to support a leading financial services organization on a 6-month contract.
The Corporate Social Responsibility Program Coordinator will play a crucial role in the daily oversight of community engagement initiatives – a signature volunteering program designed to harness the skills and time of employees to foster meaningful change in local communities. This position will manage a diverse portfolio of over 200 volunteer projects within the metropolitan areas.
Core Responsibilities:
- Manage a comprehensive portfolio of volunteer initiatives to ensure program success, enhance stakeholder experiences, and cultivate partnerships with local organizations.
- Oversee project planning and application assessments; maintain project data on the program's internal platform; serve as the primary liaison for nonprofits and internal teams; handle grant processing; manage program administration and reporting; and coordinate logistics.
- Collaborate with various internal departments to facilitate ongoing logistical arrangements, including event planning, marketing campaigns, material distribution, and communication drafting.
- Assist in evaluating the program at the end of the season, including data collection and analysis.
- Provide project management assistance for key components of pro bono initiatives, including nonprofit application assessments, presentation preparation, and logistical support.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as required.
Desired Skills:
- 3+ years of proven experience in volunteer management, client relations, event coordination, operations, or Corporate Social Responsibility.
- Strong passion for corporate philanthropy and community involvement.
- Proactive and collaborative team player with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Able to take initiative and work independently with moderate supervision.
- Critical thinker with strong judgment and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience in nonprofit operations.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel for data analysis.
- Exemplary integrity, professionalism, diplomacy, and discretion.
