Role Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to impactful social initiatives and sustainability campaigns for leading corporations, non-profits, and global foundations through integrated marketing and communications.
  • Oversee the implementation of successful CSR and social impact public relations strategies that surpass client expectations.
  • Ensure clear and consistent communication; provide strategic guidance and problem-solving solutions to clients.
  • Foster and develop senior client relationships.
  • Create thought leadership opportunities for C-Suite executives, including narrative development, securing speaking engagements, and generating top-tier media coverage.
  • Review and produce press materials such as press releases, media advisories, key messages, Q&As, and executive remarks.
  • Formulate comprehensive communication strategies for clients; manage the financial aspects and profitability of accounts.
  • Utilize established media contacts to secure consistent coverage across various platforms, including sustainability, health & wellness, business, technology, consumer, lifestyle, and news publications.
  • Expand media relationships to enhance outreach across print, online, television, social media, radio, and podcasts.
  • Maintain a solid understanding of the CSR landscape and develop strategic communication recommendations.
  • Identify new business opportunities and secure CSR clients; lead the creation of business proposals and participate in presentations.
  • Guide and mentor the internal CSR team, providing constructive feedback and fostering creativity to achieve outstanding results.
Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree is required; an MBA or advanced degree is advantageous.
  • 6 to 8 years of experience in CSR public relations, ideally with a focus on corporate communications or sustainability.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive results.
  • Strong media relations skills with established connections to top-tier national and trade outlets.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute effective media relations strategies.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, familiar with AP style.
  • Strong communication skills, project management capabilities, and problem-solving aptitude.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Collaborative team player who shares information freely and supports group objectives.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, diligent, adaptable, and thorough.
Compensation:
Anticipated salary is $90K, commensurate with experience and workplace considerations.
