Position Overview:

As a Capital Projects Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality project management services, overseeing a range of capital investment initiatives including regeneration and major repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all phases of project management (pre-contract, contract, and post-contract) for assigned projects as directed by senior management.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of project contract documents, specifications, and schedules relevant to each initiative.
  • Supervise onsite activities of supply chain partners, focusing on quality assurance, safety protocols, project timelines, and budget adherence.
  • Lead multiple projects concurrently, managing budgets that can range from £100,000 to £5 million.
  • Collect and analyze site data, prepare specifications, and develop tender documents to facilitate the procurement of qualified contractors.
  • Evaluate contractor tenders to ensure selection of the most advantageous bids.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations, including but not limited to CDM Regulations and Planning Regulations.
  • Assist in budget management, monitoring expenditures to ensure alignment with financial regulations and verifying contractor financial submissions.
  • Utilize project management methodologies such as cash flow analysis, risk management, and quality benchmarking to achieve project goals.
  • Maintain effective communication with customers and supply chain partners to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Support the home-ownership and leasehold teams in data preparation and allocation.
  • Foster strong relationships within the team and with external stakeholders to ensure a cohesive project management approach.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, including working at heights and accessing confined spaces.
