Job Summary
McLaughlin Research Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Librarian to join our collaborative library team at the Corporate Research & Information Center (CRIC). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting outreach efforts, coordinating logistics, and providing on-site and remote reference services to our library users.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate outreach effort logistics for participating organizations, including hosting live and virtual demonstrations of our library's website, resources, and services.
- Create and maintain outreach communication templates, annual outreach plans, and write outreach content.
- Coordinate outreach posting calendars and provide research consultations to library users.
- Support the library's reference team by providing on-site and remote reference services, completing research projects, and providing research consultations.
- Assist with library finances, subscriptions, e-resources, and Drupal development as needed.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Library and Information Science from an ALA-accredited institution.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented, innovative, and proactive with experience working collaboratively and independently.
- Proficiency in the use of technology for the delivery of library services and an awareness of current trends.
- Ability to meet customer facility COVID requirements.
