Job Title: Patient Administrative Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Administrative Coordinator to join our team at Team Rehabilitation. As a key member of our clinic staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our healthcare team.

Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients in a friendly and professional manner, verifying appointments and assisting with necessary paperwork.
  • Ensure seamless communication with patients, physicians, and other staff members, including follow-ups as needed.
  • Maintain complex schedules, coordinating with Physical Therapists and other staff to accommodate patient needs.
  • Assist patients with insurance-related questions, verifying and explaining benefits, and obtaining necessary authorizations.
  • Accurately update and maintain electronic medical and billing records, following up on additional information as required.
  • Collect copayments and process in a timely and professional manner, issuing receipts and handling billing-related tasks.
  • Input data collected from in-house research, providing valuable insights into clinic performance.
  • Support clinic performance by preparing management information and maintaining basic clinic supplies and equipment.
Requirements:
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Experience in patient-centered healthcare or customer-facing roles is an asset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid basic computer skills.
  • Commitment to Team Rehabilitation's diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
