We are seeking a highly organized and empathetic Patient Administrative Coordinator to join our team at Team Rehabilitation. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in ensuring a positive and seamless experience for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Front Desk Operations: Greet patients in a friendly and professional manner, verify appointments, and assist with necessary paperwork.
- Communication and Scheduling: Ensure effective communication with patients, physicians, and staff members, including scheduling and coordinating appointments.
- Insurance and Billing: Assist patients with insurance-related questions, verify and explain insurance benefits, and obtain and track authorizations as needed.
- Record Keeping and Data Entry: Accurately update and maintain electronic medical and billing records, including billing changes and follow-up tasks.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, respond to patient inquiries, and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
- Experience: Experience in a patient-centered healthcare position or customer-facing role is an asset.
- Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, basic computer skills, and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
