The Sales Development Representative (SDR) role at Varonis is a critical position that requires a unique blend of sales acumen, technical knowledge, and communication skills. As an SDR, you will be the first point of contact for prospective customers, working to identify sales opportunities and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep understanding of Varonis' core products and sales process to effectively communicate value to customers.
  • Identify and engage with decision-makers at targeted leads to initiate the sales process.
  • Pitch and present Varonis' products and services to potential customers through high-volume phone calls and email campaigns.
  • Follow up on leads and referrals from various sources, including field activity, marketing efforts, and channel partners.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers to develop strategic sales approaches and monitor key sales activities.
  • Maintain accurate account information and activity details in Salesforce (CRM).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree from a four-year College/University or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding phone skills and ability to handle a high volume of calls per day.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to influence, negotiate, and gain commitment at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed, and entrepreneurial environment.
  • Strong decision-making, problem-resolution, and creative thinking skills.
  • Personal drive and internal motivation towards high achievement.
