Position: Domestic Sales Coordinator

Location: Los Angeles, CA - Full Time

This role serves as a vital link between various departments, ensuring that cross-functional teams remain informed and aligned. The Domestic Sales Coordinator will provide comprehensive support to the Domestic Sales team, handling a variety of administrative tasks and maintaining organization with our retail partners. A successful candidate will be adept at multitasking, proactive in their approach, and ready to assist wherever necessary with a positive demeanor.

Key Responsibilities:

New Product Launch Support:

  • Prepare essential documentation for distributors and retailers during new product launches, including:
    • Setup forms (e.g., Sephora NPF)
    • Retail assortments
    • Order forms
    • Markdown forms
    • Product comparisons
    • Product Marketing Sheets
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information for setup forms and retailer portal uploads, such as:
    • SKU/UPCs
    • Pricing
    • Product dimensions
    • Ingredients
    • Country of Origin
    • Case Packs

Department Coordination:

  • Organize Prep/Market Weeks calls with Account Leads and Retailers.
  • Maintain an updated directory of Domestic Retailers.
  • Ensure the office product closet is well-stocked.
  • Submit warehouse requests for retail comparison orders and manage submission and shipment timelines.

Visual Merchandising Responsibilities:

  • Oversee seasonal updates for retailer gondola assortments.
  • Track and document changes to assortments based on business needs.
  • Ensure accuracy in assortments, share orders, and pricing throughout the routing process.

Administrative Duties:

  • Keep internal trackers updated with new and incoming information through regular communication with the team.
  • Assist in maintaining monthly order forms, reviewing for discontinued items and new product introductions.
  • Support the upkeep of the Domestic Retailer Calendar.
  • Compile competitive press and marketing activity reports.
  • Provide assistance to the department head and international partners as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one year of experience in a similar capacity, preferably within the beauty sector.
  • A college degree in sales, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • A strong sense of urgency to meet deadlines and follow up on tasks.
  • Proficient problem-solving abilities and follow-up skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team while managing individual projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), SharePoint, Workfront, Google Apps (Drive, Sheets, Docs), and Mac.
  • Ability to manage details and execute tasks accurately.
  • Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a willingness to take on new responsibilities.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods while typing and using a computer and phone.
  • Some standing, walking, bending, stooping, and climbing stairs may be required.
  • Occasional lifting of items weighing less than 25 lbs.
