We are currently seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide essential services in a dynamic environment.

The Desktop Support Technician will be tasked with delivering various managed client services for a key customer. Responsibilities include: IMAC, Break Fix, Desk Side Support, among others. This position requires a blend of robust technical expertise and a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deploy Windows 11 systems
  • Manage Active Directory for computer accounts
  • Perform imaging tasks using SCCM
  • Troubleshoot issues potentially caused by firewall, proxy, or antivirus software
  • Exhibit excellent customer service skills
  • Collaborate with vendors to troubleshoot and resolve issues with vendor-supported applications
  • Provide support for thin clients, mobile devices, desktops, and laptops
  • Configure local device settings for Citrix/Epic applications, including signature pads, scanners, and credit card machines
  • Respond to service tickets and maintain clear documentation for user and technician reference
  • Participate actively in weekly team meetings
  • Complete mandatory training and development programs
  • Close tickets in accordance with team standards
  • Deliver deskside and end-user support in a large healthcare setting, which requires significant mobility between workstations

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in desktop or technical support

Preferred Skills

  • A+ Certification
  • Proven background in customer service
  • Familiarity with Windows Operating System environments
  • Ability to comprehend and follow both verbal and written technical instructions
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Physical capability to lift and transport enterprise and client technology hardware
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to teamwork
  • Basic customer interaction capabilities
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, including MAC experience
  • Experience in printer repair
  • Previous networking experience
  • Experience with PC imaging and deployment
  • Self-motivated and proactive individual
  • Access to a reliable personal vehicle

NTT DATA offers a competitive compensation package for this role, with the starting pay range set at $32.40/hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on various factors, including relevant experience and technical skills.
