Position Overview:

As a Senior Financial Analyst within Americold Logistics, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our pricing and costing frameworks to drive revenue growth and improve profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the formulation of costing and pricing models for warehousing and value-added service proposals.
  • Leverage your financial expertise and analytical skills to maintain and develop pricing structures for both new and existing business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, IT, FP&A, PMO, and Transport, to gather detailed cost estimates and understand customer operations.
  • Prepare comprehensive Investment Memos, pricing simulations, and high-level summaries to facilitate discussions with management.
  • Lead pricing review meetings and foster collaboration among various departments to analyze and adjust customer profitability reports.
  • Support the creation of pricing strategies and work closely with business development to deliver value to our clients and stakeholders.
  • Generate accurate cost estimates and financial analyses for customer Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and sales proposals.
  • Utilize internal pricing tools and costing models while exploring innovative pricing methodologies.
  • Provide financial analysis and reporting to support key business activities, employing data reporting tools such as BPC, SAP, and Microsoft Power BI.
  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics, offering insights and recommendations to achieve strategic goals.
Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, or Mathematics.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in financial analysis, pricing, or a logistics-related field.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • The ability to work independently and take ownership of projects, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in financial statement analysis and financial modeling.
  • A solid understanding of supply chain elements, particularly in warehousing and transactional pricing environments.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data persuasively.
  • Strong project management capabilities to meet tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:

  • An MBA or relevant certifications.
  • Proficiency in BPC, SAP, Power BI, SQL/Access, and Visio.
  • A flexible, team-oriented approach in a dynamic work environment.

  • Extended periods of sitting and manual dexterity for typical office tasks.
  • Occasional travel for business purposes.
  • Visits to warehouse operations in varying temperatures.
