Position Overview:

The Summer Analyst program spans ten weeks, offering a comprehensive immersion into the Rockefeller Capital Management culture and operations. Analysts will engage in the daily functions of the business, fostering opportunities for learning, growth, and achievement.

Eligibility and Selection Criteria:

Candidates must be undergraduate students in their junior year, maintaining good academic standing. A genuine interest in the financial services sector and a desire to learn and contribute meaningfully are essential.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Support the Divisional Director in various projects and initiatives within the organization.
  • Assist the team with the onboarding and ongoing support of Financial Advisors and their client accounts.
  • Contribute to ad-hoc projects related to advisor transitions, client engagement, and marketing efforts.
  • Assist in recruitment initiatives for Financial Advisors.
  • Help develop and implement best practices for the business.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma is required.
  • Pursuing a degree in Finance, Operations, Economics, or Business is preferred.
  • Previous internship experience in wealth management is advantageous.

Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of investments and portfolio reporting terminology.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; ability to analyze and present client data effectively.
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Adept at multitasking and prioritizing tasks as needed.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Compensation:

The anticipated hourly rate for this role is $32/hour, with variations based on qualifications, skills, and experience.
