Position Overview: The Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the finance team with a range of accounting functions. This position presents a valuable opportunity for professional growth and advancement within a vibrant and fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the upkeep of the general ledger by recording journal entries and reconciling accounts.
  • Prepare and execute daily financial transactions, encompassing accounts payable and receivable.
  • Complete month-end and year-end closing activities with minimal supervision.
  • Generate financial reports and aid in the preparation of financial statements.
  • Conduct variance analysis and support budget formulation.
  • Review and process invoices, ensuring accurate coding and authorization.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on overdue accounts.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and address discrepancies.
  • Assist in maintaining precise inventory records and conducting periodic physical inventory counts.
  • Support cost accounting functions, including tracking production costs and analyzing variances.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, as well as accounting standards and regulations.
  • Maintain organized and current financial records and documentation.
  • Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation and support.
  • Engage in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Perform other accounting-related tasks as assigned by the finance manager.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. (Candidates without a degree but with substantial work experience will also be considered)
  • 1-2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing context.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) is advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication abilities and capacity to work collaboratively in a team environment.
