Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Vice President of Sales to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a sales strategy that drives revenue growth and expands our customer base.
Key Responsibilities- Build and Grow the Sales Team
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales team
- Establish clear goals, objectives, and performance metrics for the sales team
- Develop and Execute a Sales Strategy
- Develop a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, including partnerships and strategic alliances
- Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and partners
- Drive Sales Productivity and Effectiveness
- Establish and track key sales metrics, including pipeline growth, conversion rates, and revenue
- Develop and implement sales processes and tools to improve sales productivity and effectiveness
- Provide coaching and training to sales team members to improve their skills and performance
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams
- Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and effective communication
- Collaborate with finance and operations teams to develop and manage sales budgets and forecasts
- 10+ years of sales experience, preferably in a leadership role
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and expanding customer bases
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement sales strategies and processes
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related discipline
