Role Summary

We are seeking an Environmental Construction Supervisor to oversee on-site operations for a significant remediation project. This role demands a full-time commitment to ensure the successful execution of project tasks.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will:

  • Act as the site supervisor for all phases of environmental remediation and construction.
  • Coordinate activities among field teams and subcontractors to maintain operational efficiency and project timelines.
  • Facilitate meetings and collaborate with project managers, technical personnel, and clients to ensure comprehensive project support.
  • Review completed work to verify compliance with project specifications and engineering drawings.
  • Source materials, equipment, and subcontractor services as needed.
  • Identify potential project risks related to timelines, quality assurance, and safety protocols.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in roles such as Construction Manager, Site Supervisor, or Quality Control Manager within environmental remediation projects.
  • Experience managing large-scale projects involving contaminated materials in accordance with environmental regulations.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience conducting briefings for large groups.
  • Familiarity with quality control systems.
  • Relevant certifications such as HAZWOPER and OSHA safety training.
  • Experience with project management software.
