We are seeking a qualified individual to oversee on-site coordination for all phases of construction projects. This includes managing subcontractors, materials, and equipment, ensuring strict adherence to specifications, and maintaining project schedules and budgets. The Site Supervisor will be responsible for scheduling, inspections, quality assurance, and job site safety. This role does not involve physical labor unless explicitly authorized by Senior Management following proper notification procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily Reporting: Provide end-of-day reports to the Project Manager/Assistant Project Manager.
  • Site Safety: Ensure all personnel and subcontractors are equipped with appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and that job site safety protocols are followed in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Site Management: Be the first to arrive and the last to leave the job site.
  • Job Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized job site at all times.
  • Project Scheduling: Collaborate with the Project Manager to keep an updated project schedule that reflects any changes in project status.
  • Communication: Facilitate communication with the project team regarding change orders, requests for information, and material submissions.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all work meets acceptable quality standards and adheres to project plans.
  • Team Management: Oversee employees and subcontractors on-site, fostering positive relationships.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Understand and apply building codes, safety regulations, and guidelines relevant to construction projects.
  • Liaison Role: Act as the intermediary between the Assistant Project Manager and field staff.
  • Safety Inspections: Conduct daily safety inspections to uphold site safety standards.
  • Equipment Knowledge: Understand the operation and maintenance of construction equipment.
  • Preconstruction Collaboration: Work with the project manager to identify and resolve constructability issues during the preconstruction phase.
  • Punch List Management: Maintain and review the punch list process to ensure timely resolution of outstanding items.
  • Safety Meetings: Conduct weekly safety meetings in accordance with the company’s safety program.

Qualifications and Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.
  • Experience in managing, training, and developing team members.
  • Project experience should encompass both new construction and renovation work in various environments.
  • Required Certifications: Unrestricted Supervisors License (CSL), OSHA 30, SDP Safety Certified, Scaffolding certification.
