Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Environmental Engineer to join our team in Boston or Needham, Massachusetts. As a Senior Environmental Engineer, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of environmental engineering analysis and design tasks related to planning, environmental site investigation, remediation design, and remedial operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform environmental engineering analysis and design tasks related to planning, environmental site investigation, remediation design, and remedial operations.
  • Coordinate and present design submissions with clients and environmental regulatory agencies.
  • Perform and manage site investigations to observe and document existing conditions.
  • Supervise the development of project plans, design calculations, specifications, and coordinate with other disciplines as required to deliver quality engineering services.
  • Complete and review planning documents, design calculations, and assist in the preparation of bid packages, design drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Provide responses and solutions to technical and contractual issues during projects.
  • Utilize a broad assortment of technical and project management skills on projects that range from small site restorations to large-scale new construction.
  • Engage with existing clients to expand our services and pursue new clients to support growth of the environmental business in the region.
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals for environmental consulting services.
  • Attend industry and business development functions as a representative of the firm.
  • Mentor and develop junior engineering staff.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or Science.
  • 10+ years' experience in Environmental Engineering/Environmental Consulting.
  • MA PE required.
  • MA LRP is a plus.
  • Ability to provide guidance to junior level engineers and scientists.
  • Understanding and application of environmental regulations, hazardous materials handling, and disposal requirements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and consistently meet deadlines.
