Concrete Construction Supervisor

Position Title: Concrete Construction Supervisor
Role Summary: The Concrete Construction Supervisor oversees and directs all operations related to concrete projects on-site. This role involves close collaboration with construction teams, project leaders, and various stakeholders to ensure that concrete tasks are carried out effectively and in line with the project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Coordination:
· Analyze project designs, schematics, and specifications to ascertain concrete needs.
· Formulate a concrete construction strategy, encompassing timelines, resource distribution, and equipment requirements.
· Confirm that all essential permits and inspections are acquired and organized.
2. Team Leadership:
· Direct and manage concrete work crews, including finishers, laborers, and machinery operators.
· Provide precise instructions and support to ensure tasks are executed safely and correctly.
· Track work progress and efficiency, making adjustments as necessary to adhere to project timelines.
3. Quality Assurance:
· Ensure that concrete mixtures are prepared accurately and comply with quality benchmarks.
· Supervise concrete application and finishing to achieve the desired surface quality.
· Conduct regular assessments to identify and rectify any defects or issues.
4. Safety Management:
· Implement rigorous safety measures and protocols to avert accidents and injuries.
· Uphold a secure and organized work environment.
5. Effective Communication:
· Foster open communication with project managers, engineers, and other relevant parties.
· Report on project status, challenges, and any deviations from the established plan to upper management.

Qualifications:
· Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
· Valid Driver's License is mandatory.
· Significant experience in concrete construction, demonstrating a successful project history.
· Comprehensive understanding of concrete mixing, pouring, finishing, and curing methods.
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents proficiently.
· Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
· Familiarity with safety regulations and the capability to enforce them effectively.
· Physical endurance and the capacity to work under varying weather conditions.
· A positive demeanor and willingness to meet customer needs.
· Ability to communicate confidently with senior management.
· Quick decision-making skills and adaptability to changes.
