Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to perform inspection services on public and private projects. The successful candidate will ensure conformance with contract plans and specifications, administer contracts, and provide daily progress reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect work performed by construction contractors to ensure compliance with contract plans and specifications
  • Administer contracts, track and document quantities of work performed, and resolve construction problems and challenges
  • Have knowledge of construction means and methods, materials, and strong communication skills
  • Be able to read and interpret plans and specifications and perform quantity takeoffs/calculations

Requirements

  • Experience in inspecting, testing, or managing construction projects
  • Proficiency in the use of computers, including MS Word, Excel, and construction reporting/quantity tracking software
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • A minimum of three years of experience in civil, highway, facility, or a relevant engineering field
  • One year of experience in a field inspection capacity

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certifications such as NICET, NETTCP, ACI, NACE, AWS/CWI, ATSSA Traffic Control Supervisor, EIT, CCM, CMIT, CACM
  • Bachelor of Science Degree (BS) or Associates Degree in a relevant field
