Position Summary

We are currently seeking qualified candidates with a background in Residential Construction Project Management, particularly in high-end residential settings, to oversee our extensive client portfolio. This luxury portfolio necessitates careful management by an individual experienced in upscale residential construction.

The ideal candidate will be an accomplished Construction Project Manager or Service Manager, responsible for planning and supervising a diverse range of small to mid-sized residential construction projects from inception to completion. You will be tasked with organizing and overseeing construction processes, ensuring timely and efficient project delivery. A successful Construction Project Manager must possess comprehensive knowledge of construction methodologies and procedures, as well as the ability to coordinate a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal results. Strong analytical and organizational skills are essential for this role, with the ultimate goal of ensuring that all projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with specified requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to establish project specifications.
  • Negotiate contracts with external vendors to secure profitable agreements.
  • Obtain necessary permits and licenses from relevant authorities.
  • Identify required resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) while adhering to budget constraints.
  • Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to meet deadlines.
  • Procure equipment and materials, monitoring inventory to address shortages promptly.
  • Recruit contractors and delegate responsibilities effectively.
  • Supervise the work of laborers and tradespeople, providing guidance as needed.
  • Assess project progress and prepare comprehensive reports.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and report any issues.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience as a construction project manager.
  • Thorough understanding of construction processes, materials, and project management principles.
  • Familiarity with quality standards and health and safety regulations.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Experience with construction/project management software; Procore proficiency is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • A collaborative team player with leadership capabilities.
