Reporting To: Associate VP of Instruction

Overview:
The Olympic College Corrections Education program is dedicated to providing educational opportunities for individuals within the correctional system. This role focuses on supporting the educational needs of incarcerated individuals, ensuring they have access to essential resources and guidance.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist students in navigating educational resources and tools, excluding IT-related issues.
2. Respond to inquiries regarding Olympic College programs and services.
3. Direct students to appropriate offices for advising and support.
4. Conduct research to provide accurate information to students and staff.
5. Facilitate access to equipment and materials for students outside of class hours.
6. Organize and oversee GED and placement testing, including result dissemination.
7. Maintain and update student records within the OMNI system.
8. Support registration and enrollment processes in ctcLink.
9. Represent Olympic College at local events by setting up informational tables.
10. Assist in the design and procurement of promotional materials.
11. Manage inventory of educational materials and reorder supplies as necessary.
12. Provide clerical support, including report writing and data entry.
13. Schedule meetings and coordinate onboarding processes for new staff and faculty.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- At least 2 years of experience in an administrative role.
- A commitment to working positively with incarcerated individuals.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience working with justice-involved populations.
- Familiarity with ctcLink and OMNI systems.

Employment Terms:
This is a full-time classified position requiring 40 hours of work per week, with a salary range of $42,444 - $56,676. Employees will start at Step A of the salary scale, with a 5% increase after six months of probation.
