Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the organization’s import compliance initiatives.
  • Oversee daily import operations, including coordination with customer brokers.
  • Classify imported goods, ensuring accurate harmonized tariff schedule codes and Country of Origin are applied.
  • Collaborate with the compliance team to align with internal departments (Supply Chain, Program Management) to uphold US trade regulations.
  • Draft and revise import protocols, documentation, and templates.
  • Offer expertise on documentation requirements, recordkeeping, classification, origin determination, and customs valuation.

This role is primarily onsite, with potential for hybrid or remote arrangements for suitable candidates who are local.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in import or customs operations.
  • Experience in aerospace manufacturing is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screening.

Compensation: $25-30 per hour, based on various factors including education, experience, location, and specific job responsibilities.
