Role Overview:
As a Behavioral Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients to develop essential life skills that facilitate their personal goals, foster significant relationships, and ensure access to equitable learning and community engagement opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) under the guidance of a behavior analyst and clinical team.
- Collect and document data to track client progress effectively.
- Support clients in community-based activities, including attending classes, joining fitness programs, job applications, and engaging in hobbies.
- Assist with medication management and provide transportation as necessary.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other stakeholders to maintain consistency in care.

Qualifications:
- Active RBT certification or equivalent experience in behavior management, with a willingness to obtain certification.
- Proven experience working with individuals exhibiting mild to severe challenging behaviors.
- Background in supporting adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder or other developmental disabilities.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license, along with personal vehicle insurance.
- Current CPR certification and recent TB test (resources available for completion).
- Successful completion of federal and state fingerprint background checks.
