Key Responsibilities- Monitor and assist clients with activities of daily living, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility and grounds to maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting clients, admitting them to the unit, and conducting tours and orientations.
- Maintain the safety and cleanliness of the unit, including laundry duties and ensuring clients' belongings are secure.
- Monitor clients' performance of job function assignments and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Prepare and maintain clinical documentation in the electronic health record, including progress notes and shift reports.
- Organize group rooms, meeting rooms, and other common areas to ensure a comfortable and productive environment.
- Coordinate discharges in consultation with the treatment and case management team.
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, sociology, or a related field, with moderate experience in clinical documentation.
- At least 1 year of experience working with individuals diagnosed with mental illness, substance use disorders, and co-occurring disorders, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid driver's license in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- Ability to work weekends, variable shifts, and holidays.
- Basic typing and computer skills.
- Experience as a medical technician or CNA preferred.
