About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join our team at Senior Living Recruiting Specialist. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as outlined in their individualized care plans.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting a sense of belonging and well-being.
  • Assist with simple treatments, such as administering medications and providing wound care, as directed by licensed healthcare professionals.
  • Observe and report any changes in resident behavior or condition to the Wellness Director or other designated staff members.
  • Participate in onboarding, annual, and in-service training, as well as team member meetings, to stay up-to-date on company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Meet state or provincial health-related requirements.
  • Maintain any certification as required by state or provincial regulations.
