As a Behavioral Support Technician, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of children diagnosed with autism and related conditions through the application of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) techniques in various environments including home, community, and educational settings.

This role involves motivating clients by reinforcing socially acceptable behaviors and teaching alternative strategies to address challenging behaviors. Your efforts will contribute to improving social skills, play, and communication abilities while reducing or eliminating disruptive behaviors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct services to clients and execute daily activities as specified in individualized treatment plans under the guidance of a Behavior Analyst.
  • Provide family training that incorporates behavioral modification strategies for implementation in home and natural settings.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including behavioral data, daily notes, and billing records.
  • Utilize appropriate safety management protocols when engaging with clients.
  • Collaborate with other professionals involved in the care of clients to ensure consistency across services.
  • Participate in regular supervision sessions with a Behavior Analyst to discuss client progress and any concerns.
  • Keep a log of supervision to track compliance with requirements.
  • Transport clients as necessary, requiring a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Availability during standard working hours and occasional weekends is essential.

Qualifications:
