Optima Dermatology is on the lookout for a Vice President of Provider Acquisition and Growth Strategy to enhance our Practice Support Center.


Position Overview:
The Vice President will spearhead initiatives aimed at business development, focusing on the recruitment and integration of healthcare providers into Optima's practices.


This leadership role will report directly to the executive team and collaborate closely with various department heads to meet our recruitment objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Expand Optima's team of healthcare providers by managing the complete recruitment cycle for dermatologists and advanced practice providers, which includes engaging with candidates, negotiating contracts, and structuring compensation models.
  • Deliver a personalized and engaging recruitment experience to attract physician candidates, encouraging a transition from traditional healthcare roles to Optima's innovative approach.
  • Work in partnership with the recruitment team to oversee job postings and outreach strategies, ensuring a strong pipeline of candidates through diverse platforms.
  • Continuously refine the recruitment strategy, policies, and procedures to enhance the screening, selection, and hiring processes.
  • Facilitate the smooth transition of providers from recruitment to onboarding while maintaining ongoing relationships with current staff.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align recruitment strategies with business objectives.
  • Actively participate in networking events, conferences, and recruitment fairs to connect with potential candidates.
  • Travel to residency programs to build relationships and recruit new physicians.
  • Engage with educational institutions to attract clinical support staff.
  • Prepare and present monthly and quarterly reports to the management team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Proven track record in sales, client services, or recruitment is essential.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with prior management experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with online recruitment tools and sourcing applications is advantageous.
  • High proficiency in utilizing digital systems for tracking and managing recruitment processes.
  • Data-driven mindset with a focus on metrics.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and a commitment to personal growth.
  • Experience with CRM systems is preferred for maintaining accurate candidate information.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Flexibility for early morning and evening meetings with candidates.
