Position Overview:

LMI Consulting, LLC is in search of a proficient RFID Systems Engineer to provide expert technical support and guidance in the field of Radio Frequency Identification technology. This role is crucial for enhancing operational efficiency and modernizing processes within our client’s environments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise workflow and team dynamics, offering strategic direction and insights as necessary.
- Formulate and implement strategies aimed at optimizing site operations, while generating progress reports and collaborating with team members.
- Deliver on-site technical expertise in passive Radio Frequency Identification (pRFID) systems, ensuring the effective functioning of electronic devices and integrated systems.
- Conduct research, design, and testing of electronic components and systems tailored for various applications including commercial, industrial, and military use.
- Design and develop electronic circuits and components applicable in telecommunications and control systems.
- Oversee installation teams, ensuring accountability and quality of work.
- Recommend and establish hardware and infrastructure configurations based on specific facility requirements.
- Analyze and troubleshoot system components, identifying and resolving interference issues.
- Utilize RF engineering tools to enhance system performance and reliability.
- Provide ongoing engineering support, optimization advice, and troubleshooting for deployed products and infrastructure.
- Develop and execute testing and qualification protocols for wireless communication and data collection systems.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline; a Master's degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in Electronics or Electrical Engineering with field support capabilities.
- Strong understanding of IoT, RFID technologies, and network engineering principles.
- Familiarity with deployment considerations and facility-specific nuances.
- Knowledgeable in RF hardware systems and testing methodologies.
- Professional demeanor with a meticulous work ethic.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities.
- Active Secret clearance is preferred; only candidates eligible for a Secret level clearance will be considered.
