Administrative Support Specialist

The Administrative Support Specialist is responsible for efficiently managing incoming and outgoing communications while ensuring visitors are welcomed and attended to in a timely and professional manner. This role involves performing essential clerical and operational support tasks, typically focusing on routine assignments.
The Administrative Support Specialist operates a multi-line telephone system, maintains call logs, and accurately relays messages. This position greets visitors, assesses the purpose of their visit, issues visitor passes, and keeps visitor records. Additionally, the specialist responds to standard inquiries regarding the organization’s operations, including location and contact information. Responsibilities may also encompass various administrative duties such as scheduling meeting spaces, typing documents, organizing mail, and handling courier services. Decisions made in this role are guided by established policies and procedures, with close supervision provided.
