About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Relationship Manager - Strategic Partnerships to join our team at Apple Leisure Group Careers. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with our suppliers, ensuring seamless operations and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Negotiate and Manage Supplier Contracts: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate contracts that meet our business needs.
  • Market Analysis and Strategy: Analyze market trends and develop strategies to adapt to a dynamic marketplace, ensuring our products and services remain competitive.
  • Product Development and Pricing: Work with our Strategic Business Units to develop and implement product development and pricing strategies that drive revenue growth.
  • Destination Strategies: Ensure our destination strategies align with our business objectives and support our strategic pillars.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring they meet our quality and service standards.
  • Travel Industry Experience: Leverage your experience in the travel industry to drive business growth and develop innovative solutions.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and two or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Business Acumen: Strong knowledge of business and management principles, including strategic planning, project management, and coordination of people and resources.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent personable interaction and ability to create and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and team colleagues.
  • Travel Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the travel industry, including marketing strategy and tactics.
  • Negotiation and Selling Skills: Effective negotiation and selling skills, with the ability to create win-win solutions that benefit all parties.
  • Travel Requirements: Ability to travel by air, car, and train for approximately 20% of your work schedule, including international travel, travel to corporate headquarters, and trade shows.
