Position Overview:
The Client Relationship Manager is accountable for delivering BSI's auditing services to designated clients, ensuring compliance with all BSI, scheme, and regulatory standards to guarantee timely and cost-effective service delivery that meets our clients' expectations. The individual will participate in various audit types as either a Team Leader or Team Member.
Key Responsibilities for Client Relationship Manager - Automotive:
- Oversee a portfolio of assigned clients based on geographical location, ensuring alignment of qualifications and client contract specifications as determined by Planners.
- Engage with clients to confirm appointments, organize assessments, arrange travel logistics, execute assessments, and manage reporting of results.
- Supervise client accounts to ensure that records, visit schedules, invoicing, and related matters are effectively managed to maintain client satisfaction.
- Adhere to the training plan established by the Scheme Director to achieve assessor status and subsequently Lead Assessor status through the prescribed program, based on the necessary knowledge, skills, and experience, as well as the requirements of the relevant schemes, while maintaining auditor and scheme qualifications.
- Lead teams when required, providing mentorship and guidance to new or less experienced colleagues to fulfill business needs.
- Participate in mandatory training and comply with all procedures, processes, and policies within BSI regarding client management, home office operations, use of BSI equipment, and communication both internally and externally.
- Undertake additional assignments as necessary to achieve assessment delivery business objectives.
Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology or an Associate degree or higher (or equivalent certification or work experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering.
- Certified Auditor to International Standards - IATF 16949 & ISO 9001. EHS (ISO 14001 & ISO preferred).
- General understanding of management system auditing practices and business systems.
- Experience in third-party auditing.
