Job Summary

Vital Chemicals USA LLC is seeking a highly experienced Senior Director of Project Management to lead our project management team and oversee the planning, budgeting, and execution of key projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership: Manage a team of senior project management professionals and coordinate their daily activities to ensure projects remain on track and deliver on time.
  • Project Planning: Create and execute project work plans, including risk mitigation plans, and revise as necessary to meet changing needs and requirements.
  • Project Execution: Successfully initiate, plan, execute, and close all project deliverables as committed.
  • Project Coordination: Ensure project requirements documents and engineering drawings are prepared and maintained in accordance with change management protocols.
  • Project Communication: Publish project plans and schedules as needed, and ensure the schedules of various constituencies are coordinated.
  • Project Monitoring: Track project timelines and costs, identify resources needed, and assign individual responsibilities.
  • Project Governance: Supervise project managers, review and approve decisions regarding project scope and resolution of issues, and advise corporate management on perceived risks to project completion.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years' experience in senior project management or director roles managing complex semiconductor, vacuum coating, and/or plasma processing equipment projects.
  • Education: Master's degree in electrical engineering preferred.
  • Language: Required to speak Mandarin.
  • Leadership: Proven experience leading a team of senior project management professionals across multiple locations.
  • Industry Knowledge: Proven experience working with Tier 1 OEMs in the equipment, mobile, or consumer electronics domain.
  • Technical Skills: Experience in leading multi-site, multi-disciplinary teams of technical experts, process, HW, FW, SW engineers (team sizes > 20 people).
  • Project Management Tools: Experience with standard project management tools, knowledge of Critical Chain Project Management a plus.
  • Personal Qualities: Proactive, assertive attitude, flexible, and results-driven, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong leadership, time management, and analytical skills.
