Territory Sales Consultant

Position Title: Territory Sales Consultant
Focus on large household appliances within a retail environment.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Engage with clients to provide assistance and advice on vendor offerings while delivering sales and support services in designated retail locations.
- Travel to client sites, servicing vendor products and ensuring product displays are well-maintained.
- Address customer inquiries and provide informative responses to their questions.
- Share information about new products and gather customer feedback regarding vendor offerings and services.
- Enhance customer understanding of products by demonstrating equipment and providing application training.
- Effectively resolve customer complaints and discrepancies between customers and vendors promptly.
- Support sales, marketing, and promotional initiatives by familiarizing accounts with the latest sales strategies.
- Assist customers with special order placements.
- Organize products on shelving units in accordance with the plan-o-gram.
- Oversee and manage inventory levels, making necessary adjustments.
- Provide a weekly summary of hours worked, locations visited, and sales impact.
- Adhere to all AMS and customer policies and procedures.
- Perform additional related duties as required.
Essential Qualifications:
- Willingness to travel, which may involve overnight stays.
- Flexibility to work varied hours and days as business needs dictate, including weekends.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication, presentation, writing, and technical skills are essential.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and proof of insurance (must meet company standards).
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service to both clients and vendors.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; a college degree is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, including overhead lifting as necessary.
- Frequent standing, bending, and twisting are required.
- Preferred: 2 years of experience in vendor sales.
- Preferred: 1 year of experience in field sales or customer service.
- Bilingual skills, particularly in Spanish, are a plus.
