We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Sales Representative to join our team at Joe Johnson Equipment USA. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our customer base in the heavy equipment and truck industry.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with the inside sales team to provide administrative and customer support
- Work closely with the service and parts teams to provide a seamless customer experience
- Prospect and build new customer relationships throughout the territory
- Provide product demonstrations and training to customers as required
- Attend industry events and tradeshows to stay up-to-date on industry trends and represent the company
- Prepare and submit sales forecasts and reports as required
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Experience in a sales position, preferably in the heavy equipment or heavy truck industry
- Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) programs
- Experience working with governmental agencies on co-operative purchasing contracts and bids
- Mechanical aptitude or previous exposure to a heavy equipment/heavy truck work environment is an asset
