Position Overview

The Human Resources Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting various functions within the HR Department, including maintaining records, managing files, and entering data into the HRIS. This position will also assist the Executive Assistant to the President of Shannon & Wilson.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the HR department in executing a range of human resources programs and procedures for all employees.
  • Conduct routine filing, scanning, and archiving of records to ensure compliance with record retention policies.
  • Assist the Talent Acquisition Partner with job postings, resume screening, conducting phone interviews, scheduling interviews, performing reference and background checks, and drafting offer letters.
  • Facilitate new employee orientation and onboarding processes.
  • Oversee the milestone recognition program.
  • Provide ongoing assistance to the Executive Assistant, including organizing contracts, registrations, collection letters, and master service agreements.
  • Coordinate setup and cleanup for Board and Office Manager meetings.
  • Help arrange logistics for company-wide training sessions.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Preferred Bachelor's degree or a combination of relevant experience and a high school diploma.
  • Minimum of 2 years of prior experience in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with HRIS databases is preferred; experience with Paylocity is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • A collaborative spirit with a willingness to work with others to achieve shared goals.
  • Strong critical thinking abilities.
  • Good ethical judgment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Proficient time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Salary Information

Salary range: $29.00 per hour.
