SUMMARY:

Oversees and guides the operational management teams in the strategic implementation of projects to meet the defined business objectives.

This role will spearhead the formulation, coordination, and execution of the company's strategic initiatives.

DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist the operations management team in achieving optimal performance and fulfilling business strategic objectives.
Ensure that sufficient personnel resources are available and that their skills and competencies are effectively utilized.
Promote a robust performance-driven culture and contribute to performance evaluations and staffing decisions within the organization.
Foster a collaborative team environment across the company and among various business units and departments.
Direct the implementation of established standard operating procedures and protocols.
Support the team in analyzing and resolving challenges that arise during project execution, including client negotiations as necessary.
Lead by example to cultivate and sustain a strong safety and health-oriented culture throughout all operations.
Actively mentor and develop team members by providing constructive feedback and recognizing positive behaviors.
Encourage and uphold a culture of continuous improvement.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
15+ years of experience in successful project management related to heavy industrial construction within the refining and/or petrochemical sector.
Proficiency in sales/marketing processes in industrial construction and a proven history of successful transactions are essential.
Knowledge and experience in P&L financial operations, budgeting, cost management, and negotiation are required.
Exceptional organizational, leadership, communication, presentation, and analytical skills are crucial.
Must possess significant expertise in business principles, leadership/human relations, and strategic thinking.

Outstanding client service skills with a demonstrated ability to identify and resolve issues while presenting a positive and professional image to clients.

Requires a competitive mindset while collaborating in a team environment and an awareness of competitive dynamics.
A Bachelor's Degree is preferred; an MBA is advantageous.
