The Service Dispatcher position at 4 Seasons Air Conditioning and Heating plays a vital role in assisting the Service Manager with the management of the Service Department's functions, efficiency, and financial success.   • Strategically planning, organizing, and coordinating departmental resources and objectives in partnership with the Service Manager.
  • Effectively scheduling service assignments based on job requirements and technician expertise.
  • Delivering customer service training to field technicians.
  • Collaborating with accounts receivable teams on payment collections and credit discussions.
  • Aligning the Parts Runner's schedule with the Installation Manager.
  • Supporting all Service Department objectives in collaboration with other department leaders.
  • Efficiently resolving customer complaints and reporting issues to the Service Manager.
  • Addressing supplier-related concerns regarding parts performance, pricing, and availability.
  • Performing additional tasks as directed by the Service Manager.
Qualifications Required:
  • Proven supervisory experience in a customer service setting, ideally within HVACR contracting or building services.
  • Strong negotiation skills with suppliers.
  • Excellent communication abilities to interact with diverse customer demographics and personnel.
  • Basic understanding of HVACR technology and terminology.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and be available for emergency service calls.
  • Ability to represent the Service Manager in their absence.
  • Physical capability to meet customers on-site and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Proficiency in selling service jobs and contracts.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and laws in the HVACR sector.
  • Supporting technicians in providing effective service to after-hours clients.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
