About The Role:

The People Team at Notion exists to help build a generational company that enables people to do their best & most meaningful work. We're seeking a Strategic People Development Manager to partner with our Product & Foundation (Legal, Finance, People) teams.

This role operates at all altitudes - one minute, you'll be building deep partnerships with our leadership team, and the next, you'll be coaching an employee. As a Strategic People Development Manager, you'll advise on, create, and execute people strategies that drive business forward.

You'll consult with the leadership team on Talent Planning, Org Design, Retention Strategies, and Change Management. You'll share proactive insights from people data, uncovering hot spots, and ensuring we're proactive in retaining top talent.

What You'll Achieve:
  • Build deep partnerships with Notion's leadership team, serving as a conduit between stakeholders and the People Team.
  • Advise on, create, and execute people strategies that drive the business forward.
  • Consult with the leadership team on Talent Planning, Org Design, Retention Strategies, and Change Management.
  • Share proactive insights from people data, uncovering hot spots, and ensuring Notion is proactive in retaining top talent.
Skills You'll Need to Bring:
  • 10+ years of HR experience and deep knowledge of various HR functions such as talent management, organizational design, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Solutions-oriented with an analytical approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to remain tactful and calm in all situations.
  • Highly adaptable and will thrive in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment.
  • Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Understanding of state and federal laws concerning labor relations.
  • Great sense of humor

We offer highly competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits. The estimated base salary range for this role is $220,000 - $250,000 per year, based on factors such as location, scope, and complexity, and the candidate's experience and expertise.
