At Chinatown Community Development Center, we are seeking a skilled Strategic Philanthropy Officer to join our Resource Development team. In this critical role, you will play a key part in securing financial support for our organization by developing and executing strategies to cultivate, solicit, and steward planned gifts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Primary Responsibilities (70%):
  • Implementation of Planned Giving Programs:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive planned giving programs with clearly defined objectives for the next one, three, and five years.
  • Conceptualize and implement marketing collateral and communication strategies to promote the new planned giving programs.
  • Establish a dedicated planned giving page on Chinatown CDC's website to facilitate engagement and information dissemination.

In addition to your primary responsibilities, you will also work with the Resource Development team to develop strategies to acquire new donors and increase revenues through special events, direct mail, and other initiatives.

About You

To be successful in this role, you should possess strong organizational and time management skills, be capable of working independently and collaboratively in a team environment, and have excellent written and oral communication skills.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Over five years of proven experience with demonstrated success in prospect identification, relationship cultivation, strategic planning, and solicitation of planned gifts, focus on working with high-net-worth individuals.
  • Demonstrates a strong passion for Chinatown CDC's mission and commitment to driving social impact.
Salary

$93,409 - $98,325 per year, depending on experience.
