The Role

As a People Business Partner in the Americas, you will work closely with multiple department leaders across Canada, Brazil, Mexico, and the US. Your expertise will help people leaders achieve growth objectives and support a high-performance culture. This role involves forming effective relationships with stakeholders across the organization to drive forward new initiatives, resolve blockers to success, and advocate for improvements at both local and global levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with managers to build high-performing teams, review employee engagement data, and enable them to lead on action plans and execution.
  • Coach leaders on matters including leadership development, workforce planning, policy and procedure, employee engagement, performance management, and career development.
  • Ensure employee relations issues are identified, reported, investigated, and resolved.
  • Reduce risk and ensure regulatory compliance by maintaining knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day employee management and escalating issues when necessary.
  • Collaborate with the global People Team to align on people philosophy and programs, localize programs as needed, and participate in performance reviews to identify and develop talent throughout the organization.
What We're Looking For

We seek a highly experienced HRBP professional with a strong track record of partnering with leaders to build and improve company culture and increase employee engagement. You should possess discretion and sound judgment when dealing with sensitive information, have very strong EQ with fine-tuned instincts and problem-solving skills, and be comfortable working with cloud technologies such as Slack, Zoom, Google Suite, Confluence, and BambooHR.
