Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Operations Director to join our team at Southland Industries. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of our service business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of service professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure their success.
  • Service Delivery: Oversee the delivery of high-quality service to our customers, ensuring timely and efficient completion of projects and maintenance contracts.
  • Financial Management: Collaborate with our sales and finance teams to develop and manage the service business budget, ensuring financial targets are met and exceeded.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Foster strong relationships with our customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded through proactive communication and issue resolution.
  • Safety and Compliance: Partner with our safety team to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, maintaining a safe working environment for our employees and customers.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration or engineering.
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in service management, with a proven track record of success in leading high-performing teams and driving business growth.
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business operations, including financial management, customer service, and team leadership.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, driving results through effective communication and coaching.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to senior stakeholders and customers.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications, with a strong understanding of service industry operations and best practices.
