Key Responsibilities

Market Research:
Perform extensive market investigations to uncover new trends, assess competition, and understand consumer preferences in the cannabis retail market.

Examine sales figures, pricing models, and product success to identify potential market opportunities and threats.

Data Analysis and Insights:
Employ data analytics tools to gather, process, and analyze substantial datasets concerning sales, inventory, and customer profiles.


Create detailed reports and dashboards to monitor essential performance metrics (KPIs), including sales growth, customer acquisition rates, and inventory management.

Deliver findings and strategic recommendations to various stakeholders, including upper management and retail teams.

Performance Enhancement:
Work alongside cross-departmental teams to devise strategies aimed at boosting sales effectiveness, managing inventory, and optimizing product offerings.

Compliance and Regulations:


Remain informed about the regulatory landscape and compliance standards affecting the cannabis industry, ensuring that all retail operations and data management practices adhere to applicable laws.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or a related discipline. An advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CMA) is advantageous.

Demonstrated experience in data analysis, particularly in the retail or consumer goods sectors. Experience within the cannabis industry is highly valued.

Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, or equivalent platforms. Familiarity with retail management systems (e.g., POS software) is beneficial.
