We are seeking a dynamic and empathetic individual to serve as our first point of contact within the clinic. The ideal candidate will be responsible for greeting patients, verifying appointments, and assisting with paperwork. They will also ensure effective communication with patients, physicians, and other staff members, maintaining complex schedules, and coordinating with physical therapists and other staff to accommodate patient needs.

The Patient Administrative Coordinator will be responsible for accurately updating and maintaining records in our electronic medical and billing record system, collecting copayments, and processing billing-related tasks. They will also support the clinic's performance by preparing management information and assuming basic maintenance of clinic supplies and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients in a friendly and outgoing manner, verifying appointments and assisting with paperwork.
  • Ensure effective communication with patients, physicians, and other staff members, maintaining complex schedules, and coordinating with physical therapists and other staff to accommodate patient needs.
  • Accurately update and maintain records in our electronic medical and billing record system, collecting copayments, and processing billing-related tasks.
  • Support the clinic's performance by preparing management information and assuming basic maintenance of clinic supplies and equipment.
  • Respect patient privacy and adhere to confidentiality policies.


Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Experience in a patient-centered healthcare position is an advantage, but not necessary
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
  • Solid basic computer skills necessary
  • Commitment to Team's initiative of making DEI a priority
