We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Patient Administrative Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients in a friendly and professional manner, verifying appointments and assisting with necessary paperwork.
  • Ensure seamless communication with patients, physicians, and other staff members, including follow-ups as needed.
  • Maintain complex schedules, coordinating with physical therapists and other staff to accommodate patient needs.
  • Assist patients with insurance-related questions, verifying and explaining benefits, and obtaining necessary authorizations.
  • Accurately update and maintain electronic medical and billing records, following up on additional information as needed.
  • Collect copayments and process in a timely and professional manner, issuing receipts and handling billing-related tasks.
  • Support clinic performance by preparing management information, inputting data from in-house research, and maintaining clinic supplies and equipment.
  • Respect patient privacy and adhere to confidentiality policies.

Other Tasks:

The Patient Administrative Coordinator must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment while staying on top of daily reports and tasks. Reports to the clinic director and performs additional tasks as assigned.



Qualifications
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Experience in a patient-centered healthcare position is an advantage, but not necessary
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
  • Must possess solid basic computer skills
  • Must be committed to Team's initiative of making DEI a priority
